I have now added a shoutbox on my front page.

I had an idea for a long while now, and yesterday I was feeling sleepless so I decided to sit down and implement it. It uses websockets to communicate with the website server, so whenever someone posts a shout, you can see it in realtime. Its also limited to one shout per person, cause otherwise it'd just be another chat and I don't really wanna flood the frontpage too much. Yet.

There are some other basic limits, like 258 character length, escaped HTML, etc. but otherwise its really basic. The frontend part is made with Svelte and imported as a single .js file for ease of use. I want to clean up the code and share it on my GitHub eventually.

I also want to get to adding the buttons back. Thanks to everyone who has stuck along this very munted and long "rewrite", lol. Theres a lot more to come.
