I recently found myself with an abundance of free time.
I know, sounds crazy. But winter is generally slow for purchases past gift shopping season, since people are more reluctant to go outside, and less likely to spend frivolously as per their typical New Year's resolutions. That means I am sitting on a bunch of unsold stock thats collecting dust, and since I have nothing to do, I decided to pick up one of my old projects again.
I have this image viewer that I take great pride in, since its my only complete and functional desktop application that I neglect in favor of more pressing matters typically. That means there are a bunch of bugs and feature suggestions I had to get to. I fixed some of the easiest bugs off the get go, and implemented a couple simple features requested by the last two people that tested it. Fingers crossed I can keep up a consistent pace because there are actually very few bugs left. Most of them have to do with OS/API/Lib limitations, so they're out of my hands, which gives me carte blanche to procrastinate.
Anyway, I hope to push an update, since the last stable build was a very long time ago and is actually missing some of the translations and other community suggested fixes. Fingers crossed that I can keep up with a consistent pace.
Deuces.
PS also something worth mentioning is that the large chunk of my free time has been reclaimed from online activity. I am taking an indefinite break, although knowing my tendecies it won't be very long. Just a heads up to anyone reading this who is suddenly unable to reach me.
